News Update:

Rehearsals are winding down for the upcoming Unstoppable Tour of Japan (October 17-26). All I can say is it's gonna be a lot of fun. The band is as tight a pickle jar lid. Long Neck Jimmy (my strat) is ready be played and has been telling the other guitars in the flight case to step aside and watch a veteran Fender make some noise!

More airplay this week from Yellow Beat. On Friday "I Don't Wanna Be In Trouble" will be played at approximately 8:25pm (Japan Standard Time) on Yellow Beat radio in Shonan Beach, Japan. You can listen online at www.yellowbeat.com . I am so thankful for their ongoing support of this tour. Little guys like us usually never get heard. Please tune and enjoy the show!

Had a nice conversation with Michael J Downey who is performing in Japan, Korea and China in October and November. Michael was the lead guitarist with Femme Fatale and has made quite a splash in Asia with his solo work. Check out his website at http://www.michaeljdowney.com

The upcoming Lucky Henry CD "Musical Chairs" is getting a final wax and rinse from mastering guru Jim LaForest at AudioVista in California. Look for the CD in the next 30 days or so.

My good friend (and Unstoppable producer) Kasim Sulton will be playing his final solo show this Friday at the Bitter End in NYC (the Village) before heading out with Meat Loaf on world tour to support the upcoming Bat Out Of Hell III. His show starts at 8:30 so if you are in the area go tell him Rick sent you!

Recommended listening: I have been enjoying the latest release from Donald Fagen, "Morph the Cat". It is one of the best records I have heard in a long time. Check it out at iTunes. And while you're there, remember you can download cuts from my CD's Unstoppable and Evidence too!
See Ya Rick
