Tuesday Night-Smokey One-Room Bar

Hi everyone! Last night I was aksed to fill in on lead guitar with a local bar band (the name of the band I don't know). The club where we played was a smokey and VERY small one-room bar where the band set up in the corner.

It has been a while since I played in a small beer joint like this but it was fun and brought back memories of where I started ( another small bar in Tampa called the Captain's Joint many years ago).

Even though there was limited room, folks got up and danced, glasses were raised and fun was had by all.

Being that I dont drink or smoke anymore, my breaks were spent outside drinking water and breathing fresh air. My clothes will be hanging in the yard for a week! LOL!

Life is good!

Live Webcast on WUWF

Wow , what an evening! We arrived about 40 minutes before going on the air and found a great engineer on duty who got us miced-up right away. When musicians perform in a studio the most important thing is to have a good headphone mix which we did.

This was the first time performing the material supporting the new record , "Evidence" and everyone did a great job. Donnie Morgan (drums) and Greg Roth (bass) played great. It's always wonderful to work with these guys, we have been together for a long time!

This Saturday night I will be performing on National Public Radio station WUWF in Pensacola, Florida with my buddies Donnie Morgan (drums) and Greg Roth (bass).

We will be doing two 30 minute sets of music from my newly released CD "Evidence" as well as last year's release "Unstoppable" along with some other surprises too!

NEW RELEASE

It's official!

The new record is a two-CD set called "Evidence" which will be released on March 17th. It contains 32 "rare tracks" and is a limited production run.


Live Internet Performance
I will be performing live on the radio (and internet) with my band on NPR station WUWF on March 25 from 10 pm till 12 am Central Time (same time zone as Chicago). The two-hour show is called "The Blue Plate Special" and you can listen anywhere in the world as long as you have high speed access.
